Community
We care about our community. DCLC: An Acton academy is an authentic learning environment that is looking for ways to make a positive impact on the communities around us. We look for opportunities to build Biblical character and social emotional development. We want to support families in their quest to raise children who love, respect and care for their communities.
We Get Outside
We get outside. We look for opportunities to take our learning out of the classroom and in to the fresh air. We aren't afraid to get dirty while we learn through play. Research tells us that children's healthy development requires opportunities to move their bodies and develop critical thinking skills in authentic environments .

DCLC is community focused and embraces a cooperative model that connects children, families with community partners to create win-wins for all involved.
